Your Contribution
As Business development manager, you will work in collaboration with the Soil and biomass treatment team
Your main responsibilities will be :
- Assist in the project management of residuals organics in Ontario and Eastern USA.
- Develop Market intelligence Database for organic waste in Ontario and Eastern USA
- Ensure compliance of projects with local rules, laws and regulations.
- Support the business development stages for new composting sites and organic waste processing and beneficial in Ontario
- Meet authorities as required for authorization process of new facility (MECP, municipal, township)
- Manage process to get approval for required certificate of authorization (ECA) :
- With the legal team, manage mandatory steps for new contractual agreement required
- Build business cases with finance team as required (Revenue, capex, cost, cashflow)
- Follow-up on the financial and administrative requirements of business development projects
- Support excess soil business development team as needed
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of the environment, waste or material management
- Business development experience will be strongly considered
- Ability to establish business relation with different types of partners and stakeholders
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a related field
- Knowledge applied in the waste management sector (an asset)
- Ability to understand and apply laws and regulation
- Experience in consulting engineering, contractor, technical sales, waste or water management (an asset)
- Experience in budgets and projects development (schedule, coordination of resources) (an asset)
