A typical day on the job might look like:

• Preparing engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and tender documents.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective design solutions.
• Reviewing drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, compliance and constructability.
• Supporting construction administration activities, including site inspections and responding to contractors inquiries.
• Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review detailed civil design plans.
• Communicating with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations.
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff as needed.
• Office-based design/project management with site visits to projects as required
• Adhering to all company policies.
• Other duties as required.

Your background and what you bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 810 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, including municipal and infrastructure design.
• Registered or eligible for registration with APEGNB.
• Proven experience in project management, including budget, schedule, and client coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
• Strong understanding of water, sanitary, and stormwater systems, as well as road and site grading design.
• Experience preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Familiarity with construction administration and site inspection.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid drivers license and have access to a personal vehicle for work related travel.
