Reports To: Production Manager
Pay Range: $48k to $55k salary per year based on experience, plus health and wellness benefits, RRSP plan, two weeks of paid vacation per year.

Summary
Vomela Canada is a leading printing, graphics and signage company that custom manufactures high-quality signs and marketing materials for major brands and businesses across the country and around the world.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prepress Operator to join our team in Delta BC. Working from your own desk in our Prepress team office, the Prepress Operator coordinates all tasks involved in preparing files for print, including layout, design, color correction, and troubleshooting production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify layouts, printing tiles, and preflight files for accuracy and quality
- Communicate with customers and sales staff to understand and meet prepress requirements
- Provide technical quality control on files to maintain superior standards .
- Oversee recreation of competitor parts and coordinate with project planning and sales to ensure manufacturability.
- Serve as a technical resource for digital printing and communicate with customers on technical issues as needed.
- Stay updated on new technologies and increase creative knowledge

Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficient in digital print process prepress output and digital printing artwork generation
- Ability to provide prepress specifications for production parts and contribute to digital job setup
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across departments and with customers
- Detail-oriented, a good listener, and solution-focused
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
