Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities :
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the following :
- Provide Electrical engineering as assigned with ability to stamp engineering designs and specifications within the applicable jurisdiction;
- Handle Electrical calculations required for the refinery;
- Ensure technical accuracy, and soundness of the method applied to engineering calculations, compliance to regulatory requirements, as it applies to project deliverables and owner requirements;
- Coordinate its work with internal & external stakeholders to deliver an integrated engineering work package;
- Provide engineering mitigation strategies to any risks or issues;
- Ensure lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices are promoted and applied;
Qualifications :
- 10 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer;
- Ideally experience in the oil & gas industry, if not experience in the heavy industry sector;
- Canadian P. Eng. Title;
- Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
- Good Customer relations.
- Strong ability to influence people, building trust and credibility.
