Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the sheeter machine to cut rolls of dough into sheets according to production specifications.
• Adjust machine settings such as knife pressure, speed, and feed rate to ensure precise cutting.
• Monitor the machine during operation to detect issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Complete changeovers, including full washdown of equipment.
• Inspect finished sheets for quality, ensuring they meet specified dimensions, thickness, and finish.
• Identify and address defects or inconsistencies in the sheeting process; maintain production output and quality records.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on the sheeter machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime; coordinate with maintenance for more complex repairs.
• Perform allergen changeovers including removal of guards, tensions, rollers, etc.; replace sheeter knives when needed.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents to the supervisor; ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Load and unload dough, conduct ingredient mixing / loading into the seed hopper, and store materials to prevent damage or contamination.
• Work with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets; optimize operation to reduce waste and maximize output; participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
