Job Description
Guest Service Agent
First impressions are everything! As a Guest Service Agent, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

What you will be doing :
- Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
- Proudly promote the hotel facilities, finding opportunities to enhance our guest’s stay and create a personalized experience
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
- Handle guest requests effectively and promptly
- Cash handling which includes currency exchange and balancing a float
- Become familiar with group resumes ensuring all details of incoming and outgoing groups are observed
- Serve as sales agent promoting and up-selling hotel services
- Monitor rooms' inventory to assist in maximizing rooms' revenue
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include :
- Service focused personality is essential; previous Front Desk experience preferred
- Post-secondary education in Hotel Management an asset
- Computer literacy a must with Opera experience an asset
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- A passion for Guest Service and a skill for anticipating guest needs
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts, split shifts and holidays
- Ability to speak another language fluently an asset

Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
