Project Manager
Were on the lookout for aseasoned Project Manager specializing in Building Science andSustainability to join our dynamic team in Ontarios Southwestregion.
Based in one of our offices in Kitchener Hamilton or Londonyoull play a pivotal role in leading building scienceinvestigations crafting effective remediation strategies conductingonsite inspections and delivering detailed reports.
Additionallyyoull provide asset management services like property conditionassessments for real estate transactions capital planning reservefund studies and due diligence assessments for our diverseclientele.
Responsibilities :
- Leadand manage building science projects from initiation to completionensuring ontime delivery budget compliance and exceeding clientexpectations.
- Conduct thoroughonsite inspections to evaluate building envelope conditionsidentify issues and devise appropriate remediationstrategies.
- Prepare comprehensivetechnical reports articulating findings assessments andrecommendations clearly andconcisely.
- Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams leveraging expertise in building scienceengineering and real estate for integrated clientsolutions.
- Provide asset managementservices including property assessments reserve fund studies anddue diligence assessments.
- Cultivatestrong client relationships understanding their needs and tailoringsolutions to align with theirobjectives.
- Stay abreast of industrytrends regulations and best practices in building science and realestate transactions.
- Demonstrateleadership by effectively guiding project teams fosteringcommunication and teamwork.
- Addresscomplex building science challenges with technical proficiency andinnovativeproblemsolving.
Requirements
- Minimumof a 3year Engineering Technology or Architectural Technologydiploma preferred certification by OACETT orAATO.
- 5 years of experience inconstruction administration of major capital projects; Project& Construction Management / Administration certifications areadvantageous.
- Proficiency inrelevant codes acts and constructiondocumentation.
- Extensive contractadministration experience and familiarity with constructionmethodologies equipment andtechnologies.
- Technical expertise insustainable practices LEED certification and Net Zerobuilding.
- Strong interpersonalnegotiation and communication skills (verbal andwritten).
- Proficiency in computersoftware including Excel Word project management platforms GISSharePoint SAP and AutoCAD.
- ValidOntario Class G Driver s License and reliable vehicle for businessuse.
- Flexibility to work outsideregular hours as needed and a commitment to continuous professionaldevelopment
