Senior Financial Analyst - Health - Up to 110K

Our client, a large public company specializing in the Health sector, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Montreal team.

The Senior Financial Analyst, will play a key role in the team that supports financial operations.

Job Title : Senior Financial Analyst

Location : Montreal (Hybrid)

Salary : Up to 100K depending on experience

Duration : 24 months

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Director and in collaboration with the finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in managing the company's financial and operational capital by participating in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.

Responsibilities :

• Preparation of quarter-end financial statements such as working papers, schedules, and journal entry adjustments
• Assisting with treasury and cash management including cash flow results, projections, and spending variances
• Designing and proposing accounting and financial controls as necessary
• Analyzing and evaluating corporate financial performance as required
• Collaborating with Operations and Sales staff in the development and maintaining of current and accurate costing, planning, and forecasting of inventories
• Gathering and analyzing data on changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods to determine effects on cost and prices
• Contributing to the identification and reporting on opportunities for reducing purchasing and production costs as well as lean manufacturing initiatives
• Reviewing and analyzing regular inventory cycle count results
• All other related tasks

Qualifications

• CPA, a major asset
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Ability to take initiative
• Be Bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Demonstrate leadership
• Advanced Excel (Search V, Pivot Tables)
