Financial Controller - Sustainable Development - Up to 110K

Our client is looking for a dynamic and motivated Financial Controller to join its team in a growing sustainability company.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller must be proactive and solution-oriented, while having a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.

Main tasks :

• Oversee and manage the company's financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Develop and implement effective financial processes to support the company's strategic objectives.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with current financial and tax regulations.
• Collaborate closely with operational departments to optimize costs and improve financial efficiency.
• Manage budgets, financial forecasts and cash flow plans.
• Participate in strategic decision-making by providing in-depth financial analysis and recommendations.
• Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks and other stakeholders.
• All other related tasks

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS / GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable development issues and practices.
