Design Research Assistant Systems Change

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

This role reports to the Principal Investigator (PI).

SUMMARY

In this role, the assistant will work with Dr. Victor Martinez (PI) in the newly formed research group FutureXplorations, with the objective of helping communities untangle complex challenges, guiding them in the process of exploring the possible futures, and collaborating to design and implement actions to take them there. The activities among others are : to assist with ongoing outreach, documentation, and research projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake guided research
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
• Contribute to the preparation of engagement materials, workshops and presentations
• Communicate with faculty, peers, relevant internal and external partners
• Close collaboration amongst other student researchers
• Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions and ongoing PD opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Anticipated hourly pay rate : $17.85
