We are looking for a Registered Technologist, MRI  to work with our Diagnostic Imaging Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork

Position Responsibilities :

The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registered Technologist, MRI within Diagnostic Imaging Department

Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the Registered Technologist MRI will organize and perform the MRI examinations assigned, maintain and document high quality images during the course of duties, actively participate in the implementation of strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness of the MRI service.

Qualifications :

• Current Registration – College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) – Radiography.
• B.Sc. in related field preferred
• Registration with CAMRT preferred
• Able to perform MSK, Neuro, Breast and body MRI required
• Recent experience in Diagnostic Imaging required
• Must be willing to maintain registry status by obtaining the required continuing education credits
• Able to relate well with patients, physicians and co-workers
• Solid computer skills required, working knowledge of Meditech preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and co-operatively in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient capabilities and limitations and make practice adjustments as necessary
• Trained in another modality would be considered an asset

Hiring Salary Range : $36.84-$51.77
