Job descriptionTranslating requirements into a cohesive working plan in accordance with guidelines and standards. Writing code to implement functionalities and features of small to medium complexity. Creating an implementation and back-out plan for a single system. Performing unit testing for developed code, supporting system and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects by troubleshooting root causes. Fostering productive relationships with Information Technology (IT) business partners and communicating analysis and results accordingly. You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations. You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions. Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages. You’re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers. You have 3 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field. You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Havingexperience executing Agile methodology,workingand collaborating within a team setting is an asset Having experience with Agile development practices such as TDD, BDD, ATDD and Clean Architecture software design patterns would be an asset. Having experience withdesign and solutions for developmentusing behaviour / testdrivendevelopment is an asset You will travel occasionally. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate. As the Systems Developer you will be a member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining code and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of moderately complex and diverse team initiatives with the support of your team members.
Technologies you have experience with :
- Intermediate level experience designing and building web-based applications
- Intermediate level experience with SQL Server
- Intermediate level experience with GitHub DevOps
- Working knowledge of developing and utilization of APIs.
- Working knowledge of Containerized framework, SSO integration.
- Working knowledge of OpenShift is an asset.
- Experience with the usage of static and dynamic code analysis tools such as Veracode.
- Experience with HTML 5 and CSS.
