Advantages

• Permanent full time, Monday to Friday
• Hours ranging around 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm schedule
• Salary depending on experience, 60-70k range.
• 3 weeks vacation + 5 personal days

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers.
• Assist in achieving the objectives of the pick-up and drop-off (P&D) operations
• Maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
• Plan the P&D activities and staffing required to meet the objectives
• Ensure drivers are aware of all / any unusual delivery / pickup requirements and update TMS System (Truck Mate)
• Ensure drivers are made aware of all appointment deliveries, cash collects and C.O.D.’s
• Monitor and track all equipment as assigned or moved
• Support with driver check-in when required
• To ensure all updates in Truck Mate System are done in real time for statuses of all trucks and trailers

Qualifications

• French and English is necessary
• 2 to 4 years experience in Dispatching LTL transport environment, city / local dispatching
• 1 year experience using TMS software (Truckmate preferred)
• A true team player who posses leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure
• Organized and ability to prioritize tasks
