Reporting to the Test Manager, the LabVIEW Production Test Technologist will be responsible for testing systems and software in the manufacturing space. The shift times for this position are from 8 AM or 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday; fully on-site . This position requires on-call availability and flexibility to come to work if needed to attend to urgent matters.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, hardworking, and adaptable data-driven / logging individual with a strong exposure in a production and manufacturing environment, and highly skilled and independent, performing complex tests on electric systems and PCBs. The Test Technologist is experienced with coding languages such as C++ or Python , as well as strong work experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Linux configuration and installs, and electrical design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement manufacturing test processes, tools, and documentation to support efficient production.
- Ensure products are designed with effective test and validation methods prior to release to manufacturing.
- Coordinate engineering changes and work closely with technical and production teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
- Partner with external manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain product quality standards.
- Support quality audits and evaluate materials and finished products to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and daily guidance to engineering and operations team members.
- Assist with planning and coordination of manufacturing activities across internal and external teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing space, performing tests and designs on electrical and complex systems / processes. Ensuring proper documentation.Degree or diploma in electrical, electronics, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven experience developing and supporting manufacturing test systems and automated test software.Several years of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing or a comparable technology-driven environment.Strong knowledge of production processes and quality-focused testing methodologies.Ability to analyze and interpret technical documentation, including schematics and parts lists.Solid grounding in mathematics and physics with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.Proficiency with common computer operating systems and office productivity tools, including system setup and hardware configuration.COMPENSATION
