We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plasma Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plasma cutting equipment and supporting various fabrication processes. This role requires mechanical aptitude, precision measurement skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing principles to ensure high-quality production. The Plasma Operator will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards and optimizing operational efficiency within our facility. Responsibilities -Set up, operate, and monitor plasma / Oxi-acetylene cutting machines to produce precise components according to specifications. -Read and interpret technical drawings, and machining instructions to ensure accurate fabrication. -Utilize CNC programming, perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. -Conduct routine maintenance on equipment including burning table, welding tools, tow motors, and hand tools to ensure optimal performance. -Adjust tooling and machine parameters based on material type and production requirements. -Support fabrication processes involving sheet metal, tubing, or other materials requiring plasma or laser cutting techniques. -Follow safety protocols related to electrical discharge machining, welding, crane operation, and use of hand tools Not a student opportunity, 1 year plasma cutting experience Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
