As we embark on a journey to modernize our e-commerce platforms and backend systems, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Quality Assurance to lead our QA efforts with a strong focus on automation.
Position Summary :
As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing QA team that ensures the quality, reliability, and performance of our e-commerce platforms.
You will play a critical role in developing and implementing a robust QA strategy, with a strong emphasis on automation to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
QA Strategy & Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with our business goals and modernization efforts.
Build a strong QA team and foster a culture of quality across the organization.
- Test Automation : Lead the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure efficient and effective testing of our e-commerce platforms.
- Test Planning & Execution : Develop and execute test plans for various e-commerce features and functionalities, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Quality Metrics & Reporting : Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA efforts and identify areas for improvement.
Report regularly to stakeholders on QA progress and results.
- Collaboration : Work closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes into the development lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure we stay at the forefront of industry best practices.
- Mentorship & Development : Guide and mentor QA team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing QA teams in the e-commerce domain.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, particularly in automation.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Experience with performance and security testing tools.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, ideally Magento.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI / CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills :
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and microservices architectures.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
