As a Mechanical Engineering Specialist at our global engineering firm in the energy and infrastructure sector, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in mechanical engineering to support the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities :
Design and Analysis :
- Collaborate with project teams to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Utilize engineering software tools and techniques to perform engineering analyses, simulations, and calculations to assess mechanical performance, structural integrity, and thermal behavior.
Technical Support :

Quality Assurance :

Project Management :

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to manage project deliverables, milestones, and resources.
Continuous Improvement :
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement in project execution and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency gains, and cost savings in mechanical designs, processes, and workflows.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Intermediate roles : 4 - 9 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems and components, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
Technical Proficiency :
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, including solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Experience with engineering software tools for CAD modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other relevant applications.
Problem-Solving Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex mechanical issues, develop innovative solutions, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and safety in mechanical designs and analyses.
