Territory Manager role at Brandt Group of Companies
Overview
Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Cambridge Construction & Forestry location. The Territory Manager – Construction and Forestry role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growth of customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of new and used whole goods. A successful Territory Manager will have extensive knowledge of all potential users of new and used construction & forestry equipment within the designated AOR, be involved in purchasing and rental activities of all customers, and report activity / transaction details daily to the company. The TM will also identify other business opportunities within the AOR that may be served by other areas of Brandt – Parts & Service, Sales of other Brandt products, etc.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- New account creation and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Achieve sales targets set out by the company.
- Continuous development of a comprehensive sales pipeline of immediate and future customer opportunities.
- Promote and sell all types of new and used whole goods assigned to the role.
- Promote rental and rental purchase of new and used whole goods.
- Understand and apply machine and company feature, advantage, benefit statements to drive sales success.
- Deliver continuous prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
- Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
- Actively participate in and promote Brandt at industry events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and quotations.
- Submit lost‑sales reports on a timely basis; lost‑sales reports are mandatory each week to maintain competitive pricing.
What We Look For
Sales industry experience and / or comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment is an asset.Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.Proficient computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Must be available to travel as needed; recent driver’s abstract and valid passport are required.Bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.What We Offer
