WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Organize media within the established workflow for the production.
- Import, back-up, track, and log daily footage.
- Review and conform media.
- Use field reports, stack all the footage and audio as listed to be synced to ensure footage / audio captured at the same time is lined up and create multigroups.
- Organize and track production video and audio, stock footage, music, SFX, and other media assets.
- Update trackers on Google Suite with progress.
- Collect archival footage if required.
- Export and deliver files as required.
- Prepare travel drives / digital transfers for story and picture editing teams; prepare field media drives for Field Crew.
- General QC of media and proactively fixing things as required.
- Support editorial teams in troubleshooting media or editing issues.
- Back up tapeless media with LTO’s, LTOing tapeless media through softwares such as Canister.
- Up-res proxy footage and deliver transcoded files for color and layback.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
Previous experience working as an Assistant Editor or Logger with a foundational knowledge in post production is a plus.The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.Strong communication skills and collaboration.Must be proficient with Avid Media Composer.Previous experience with Resolve is a plus.The ability to take initiative in solving technical problems as they arise is an asset.Keen attention to detail when it comes to Quality Control and the ability to learn new concepts and processes quickly.Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.Must be able to work in-house in our Burnaby office.START DATE : March 2, 2026
Salary Range : $1200 to $1500 per week, based on experience
