Job Description
Enterprise Technology and Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services supporting all the Firm’s business applications and end users.
ETS is focused on enabling the Firm to manage its global businesses and clients with market-leading technology platforms that are resilient, secure, smart, fast, flexible, and efficient.
The ETS Program Management office (PMO) will support and track delivery across a complex and multi-year program of work.
The PMO aims to provide administrative support to program managers and key stakeholders through oversight of the processes that set-up and track milestones & deliverables, headcount resources, and budget.
The PMO will play a consultative role as well as seek compliance on project management responsibilities. The PMO will monitor and develop documentation and reporting on projects to offer key metrics and direction to foster strategic decision making.
The primary platform for this activity will be the Project and Portfolio Management tool (PPM Prime). The position will partner closely with program managers, departmental chiefs of staff, business management and workforce management.
This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires a strong resource that can operate both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Program Governance & Guidelines
- Partner to develop, implement, and govern program management processes, tools, templates, policies and metrics.
- Monitor guidelines and overall compliance with portfolio reporting
- Maintain & update governance guidelines & processes as organizational priorities evolve
- Validate initial program setup & allocation methodology
- Manage the risk, issue, change resolution process, and work with program managers & key stakeholders to take corrective action as needed
Financial & Workforce Management :
- Establish and maintain the portfolio / program / project structure that aligns our delivery with our organizational goals
- Provide program financial & workforce reporting to program owners and key stakeholders
- Facilitate monthly program reviews with key stakeholders
- Optimize stakeholder engagement to facilitate effective program control
- Communicate changes to the appropriate functional departments so that changes can be made in the firm’s systems
- Participate in the creation of business cases for new programs
Requirements
- Proven work experience (+ years) within a PMO or as a program manager
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to perform in high pressure, fast paced situations
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- Thorough understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Excellent in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to analyze / synthesize large amounts of information and present findings to senior audiences
- Creative thinker who will take complete ownership and accountability
- Technology and Financial Services background (desired)
- PMP Certified (desired)
- Experience with business intelligence tools desired (Power BI, QlikView, etc)
