Class 1 LCV Highway Driver Great Wages!!

We are looking for a full-time Class 1 LCV linehaul driver for a switch run between Yellowknife and Enterprise. Departure time of 5 : 00 pm daily Monday to Friday. This is a pin-to-pin position. The successful candidate will be responsible for :

• Safely operating and maneuvering Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs) on highway routes.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Accurately logging driving hours rest periods and other relevant information in accordance with federal and territorial regulations.
• Maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Efficiently loading and unloading cargo ensuring proper securing of freight.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch customers and other drivers as needed.
• Monitoring weather and road conditions to make informed decisions about route planning and driving safety.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks and reporting any vehicle issues promptly.
• Managing time effectively to meet scheduled delivery deadlines.
• Adapting to changing schedules or route adjustments as required by the company.
• Maintaining all required certifications and licenses current and in good standing.
• Participating in ongoing safety training and professional development programs.

The driver must reside in the Yellowknife area; no fly-in options.
