Responsibilities :
Communicate design concepts and details to team members and / or clients
Assist in the analysis of engineering problems and design deficiencies and recommending appropriate courses of action
Preparation of road and highway designs and design drawings using computer design tools (e.g. CAD, transportation software)
Preparation of construction contract documents and engineering specifications
Civil construction project inspection
Perform a wide-range of additional duties intended to support your growth and development within a transportation engineering environment
Qualifications :
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma
Minimum 5 years of experience in the transportation sector for roads and / or highways design
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D road design software
Civil construction project experience would be an asset
MMCD documents experience would be an asset
MMCC Certified Contract Administrator designation would be an asset
Good Word and Excel skills
A growing understanding of transportation planning, design, road infrastructure and municipal services
Good verbal and written communication skills
