Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Operations, working a hybrid role from the Ontario office located in Cambridge Ontario, from a home office, and also in the field, the Technology Manager & Sales Engineer leads the testing, procurement, and approval of LOC Medical’s technology. In addition, this role oversees the costing and planning of future sales related to cost of materials, and technical solution. This role requires technically proficiency in technologies including Low Voltage, RF, Structured Cabling, and integrated Communications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the design of sold and deployed solutions including, but not limited to low voltage, RF, and structured cabling projects. This includes the reading and review of blueprints and / or architectural and network drawings to accurately design solution.
- Ensure scope, schedule, and budget targets are achieved.
- Create detailed and full system designs, bill of materials and statements of work to support designed and planned projects.
- Assist in managing both internal and external teams to support deployment of designed and planned projects.
- Investigate, evaluate, test and approve new technologies to support solutions to be sold and managed by LOC Medical.
- Support the project management and installation of designed and planned projects.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in structured cabling and ICAT (Information, Communication, and Automation Technology) project management.Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage systems, RF, and telecommunications infrastructure.Ability to interpret technical drawings and produce accurate takeoffs.Experience working within hospital or healthcare environments.Familiarity with CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1 and industry safety standards.Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project), AutoCAD, and Adobe tools.Availability to travel nationally as required to conduct site visits and support project delivery.Comfortability with working in a hospital environment.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills is a requirement, additional communication skills in French will be considered an asset.Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities is a requirement.Compliance and Background Checks

This role will operate out of the Cambridge Ontario LOC Office, from home & on-site at LOC partner hospitals.

Workdays & Hours
Monday – Friday, approx. 8-hour work days between the hours of 8 : 00am – 6 : 00pm with some exceptions.
