Role Description
As the Director of Information Technology Director at ADL, you will play a major role in advancing their digital transformation, working collaboratively to drive progress and ensure the success of their initiatives.
Your role will focus on seamlessly implementing a centralized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, leading change management, and will assist in developing subject matter expertise within our organization.
With a keen eye on digital governance, resource planning, and collaboration, you will ensure the successful integration of technology solutions while strategically aligning them with ADL's overarching objectives.
Your responsibilities will include :
Technological Integration and Project Management :
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of strategic IT projects, ensuring success and alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead significant digital transformation, implementing thorough change management for seamless transition. This includes needs analysis, milestone planning, change management and pre / post project evaluation.
- Implement risk management safeguards for project outcomes.
Strategic and Operational Support :
- Align digital initiatives with ADL's goals for a cohesive, strategic approach.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within IT and relevant business functions.
- Define organization IT operations to maximize system efficiency in meeting customer service satisfaction standards.
- Develop intricate project plans, allocate resources judiciously, and monitor progress for timely milestones.
Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement :
- Provide strong, inclusive leadership, driving inter-organizational teams towards project goals and propelling digital initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with teams, vendors, and end-users for effective collaboration.
- Lead usability and solution acceptance testing processes, ensuring solutions meet requirements.
- Integrate and optimize IT operations, collaborating for efficiency with external partners.
Your Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Computer Science, business, or related field
- Strong strategic planning skills with proven experience in overseeing end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Change management expertise, driving effective organizational change in technology projects.
- Proven experience in strategic resource allocation and project management monitoring.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledgeable in IT operations management, with familiarity in systems integration tools and experience in optimizing IT processes.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, adept understanding of business processes, and a proven ability to translate business goals into effective IT strategies.
- Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding testing methodologies and some in usability testing experience would be advantageous.
