Your day-to-day!
- Carry out the complete accounting cycle for projects and / or less complex corporate entities in a shared services environment;
- Record journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, perform bank reconciliations, sales tax remittances, bill revenues, track prepaid and accrued expenses, etc.;
- Account for inter-company transactions;
- Account for fixed assets and related depreciation;
- Prepare various monthly analyses;
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory financial statements;
- Participate in the preparation of annual audit files;
- Ensure compliance with internal controls;
- Participate in the continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency of processes;
- Participate in the analysis of the various financial statement items and support the necessary corrective measures;
- Be open to participating in various special mandates.
Your skills, our requirements!
- University degree in accounting or college training combined with relevant experience;
- Relevant experience in a similar position;
- Experience of the full accounting cycle;
- Experience in managing multiple currencies an asset;
- Experience in a public company is an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and data entry;
- Excellent general software skills (e.g. Great Plains, Acrobat);
- Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis;
- Meet tight deadlines;
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task;
- Autonomy and speed of learning;
- Adapt easily to change;
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Additional considerations!
- The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
- This position is an P1 level.
