Position: Financial Accountant Location: Saint-Laurent, Montreal (5 days onsite) Salary: $70,000 (based on experience) Benefits: Group insurance eligible upon hire, 3 weeks of vacation, fully equipped gym, free parking and more Job Description: Our client with over 40 years of architectural design and construction experience is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with corporate leaders, overseeing the wide range of accounting operations. The ideal candidate for this role: - At least 3 years of experience as a senior accountant responsible for the full accounting cycle - Fluently bilingual required for correspondence outside of Quebec - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Knowledge of J.D. Edwards accounting system is considered an asset Responsibilities: - Perform month-end close of General Ledger - Analyze general ledger accounts and report variances - Execute monthly invoicing/chargebacks to affiliated companies - Prepare monthly and quarterly reports - Coordinate with Accounts Payable for proper GL coding of invoices - Aid in the preparation of year-end audits and provide information to external auditors - Conduct bank reconciliations, analysis, and corrections - Generate special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information - Contribute to the development of accounting policies - Assist in the automation of accounting procedures Please send your resume in Word format to Alessandro Di Pietro at alessandro.dipietro@quantum.ca.
