Project Specialist
Reporting to the Manager, Projects, the incumbent is responsible for accurately and timely completion of client solicitations, recording and archiving them in accordance with the procedure in place.
He / she will provide reference materials to support the accuracy of quotes and will work closely with sales staff to ensure accuracy of information.

Schedule : 37 hours, from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm (some flexibility)

Status : permanent, full time
Salary : $65,000 to $70,000 / year
Group insurance employer / employee portion : 3 months after hiring, depending on the plan chosen 70% or 80% covered by the employer and telemedicine service.
Sick days and personal days : 6 per year after one year of service.
RRSP : employer contribution after one year of employment. TFSA (contributions are not matched by the employer).
Responsibilities
- Prepares bids and follows up in a timely and efficient manner (depending on the level of service identified);
- Estimates the costs of the bid;
- Analyzes and interprets plans, specifications and calls for tenders;
- Works closely with Territory Managers and Specialist Technicians to ensure that requirements meet project requirements;
- Responds to clients; phone calls, solves or proposes alternatives on issues related to the project submission;
- Ensures the follow-up and successful execution of projects to the client's satisfaction;
- Ensures that project deliverables meet the company's quality standards and contractual requirements;
Promoted, developed and maintained good relationships with our client partners in order to ensure satisfaction,
- foster business relationships and customer loyalty;
- Responds to requests for quotations and provides documentation or technical information when required;
- Ensures that project documents are complete, up-to-date and stored appropriately;
- Coordinates client change requests;
- Negotiates prices when necessary, according to certain pre-established schedules;
Produces a monthly summary of submissions; compiles, reviews and regularly monitors the list of completed and pending projects for which bids have been prepared
Maintains up-to-date product knowledge to make recommendations for acceptable substitutes;
Ensures that ISO standards related to the documentation of all relevant transactions and communications are applied and maintained.
Performs specific analyses or special projects when required
Participates in team meetings;
Qualifications
Completed College Diploma
Electrical knowledge
Technical Diploma in Electrical / Electronics an asset
2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
French and English) both written and spoken
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
Attention to detail is required
Ability to read and understand drawings and technical specifications
Be able to set priorities
