Director of Finance

What you’ll do:

• Provide leadership for the Prairie Co-op’s Finance function, including general accounting, cost management, budgeting and IT.
• Develop and foster strong working relationships within the leadership team, actively participate in strategic planning and decision making, and participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and programs.
• Oversee the development and execution of the Prairie Co-op’s overall financial strategy, including accounting/financial reporting, budgeting, tax, audits, and external investing activities.
• Provide financial analyses, studies, and counsel on matters of significant financial impact, including economic/competitive trends, pricing, cash flow, product line evaluation, and capital additions.

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

• You have a Bachelor of Commerce/Business degree with a major in finance or accounting. A professional accounting designation such as CPA is considered an asset.
• You have over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with prior leadership experience.
