What your day to day will look like?
Have a positive team aptitude while interacting within the maintenance group,internal customers, engineering groups, management, suppliers & contractors.
Working independently or team member to perform general mechanical tasks using documented / communicated instruction, drawings, manuals, & / or computer systems.
Competent & capable of using trade related general hand & power tools / equipment.
Capable of performing installation, service, repair, and overhaul of plant equipment such as compressors, test skids, pumps, pneumatic & hydraulic components / systems.
Proficient fabricator, rigger, pipefitter, welder. (i.e. : Mig, Tig, Arc, Oxyacetylene)
Possess proficient trouble shooting techniques to identify / resolve mechanical issues.
Able to perform standard preventative maintenance on facility equipment / systems by performing visual inspections, identifying & correcting potential functional issues, removing / replacing worn out components / parts, & performing general lubrications.
Prior knowledge / training in regard to : LOTO, CSE, working at heights, PIV operation.
Experience with high pressure centrifugal or screw compressors would be an asset.
Be able to work various shifts independently. (6 AM. - 2 : 30 PM., 2 : 30 PM. - 12 AM.)
Be available for rotational schedule weekend on-call with other team members.
What you need to be successful?
Licensed millwright (Industrial Mechanic) or equivalent.
Red seal certification, college & / or trade school diploma.
Mechanical technician / technologist or equivalent.
Self-motivated, flexible, adaptable & dynamic applicant.
