Introduction
The Vital Statistics Branch is responsible for administering The Vital Statistics Act, The Marriage Act, The Change of Name Act and processing disinterments under The Public Health Act.
A high-volume and front-line office, the Branch registers vital events in Manitoba and issues foundational identity documents as proof of those events.

Qualifications : Essential :
- Post secondary education in adult education, business administration or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience interpreting, applying and explaining policies and procedures and / or legislation or Acts
- Experience developing and implementing training and operational manuals
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience writing clear, concise documents and reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to make sound decisions
- Experience using life event registry and life event application processing software

Duties : The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and continuous development opportunities for new and existing staff.
