Job Description

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for changing brake setups as required and performing brake jobs assigned from lead hands. Prerequisites include the possibilities of work assigned in other areas on a needed basis, the willingness to teach / learn braking technique to / from others, the proven efforts to maintain work areas cleanliness, and the ensured safety awareness / practices for self and others in the workplace. Furthermore, the press brake operator will ensure the quality of work by carrying out corrective actions as needed, and in reporting deviations as observed.

Essential Job functions :

• Working knowledge of lay-out drawings, dies, and die setups
• Proven working experience with tools, preferably in manufacturing settings
• Quality awareness and self-discipline
• Operating a lift truck
• Initiatives to take corrective actions
• Responsible and reliable
• Ability to work shifts
• Understand work instructions in English
• Light to moderate lifting required up to 50 lbs
