What you'll be doing
Deliver ownership of well-scoped BD projects and sector-led initiatives to drive firm growthSupport priority sectors like FinTech and Civil Fraud by executing business plans and measuring ROIDevelop a more formal and effective referrer network in collaboration with the Head of BDCreate targeting pipelines and client profiles to strengthen prospective client engagementAdvise partners and senior lawyers as a trusted commercial consultant to drive momentum on key prioritiesCollaborate across departments to identify overlapping opportunities and influence relationship-buildingCoordinate with marketing colleagues to ensure all activity is aligned with firm-wide objectivesWhy you'll love it here

What we're looking for
Proven experience in a Business Development Manager or equivalent role within a professional services environment (legal strongly preferred)Demonstrable ability to manage and deliver complex BD initiatives independently and at paceStrong gravitas and credibility with senior stakeholders, including partnersExcellent project management skills, with the ability to scope, prioritise, and deliver work with minimal supervisionCommercially minded, with a strong understanding of partnership dynamics and law firm decision-makingOutstanding communication skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence effectivelyPragmatic, solutions-focused approach with a strong bias towards delivery
