The Opportunity Davis Pier is seeking a Director / Lead of Digital Government and Digital Health to join our consulting firm in Halifax, NS.

The preferred candidate will lead the delivery of digital health and digital government projects and support the development of partnerships and opportunities.

- Responsibilities Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver complex digital government and digital health projects;
- Be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including establishing effective governance, managing scope, timeline and budgets Seamlessly integrating with client teams and developing tailored approaches to project delivery to ensure the engagement outcomes are delivered in a non-disruptive manner;
- Act as a lead on complex projects, which will involve managing junior resources within Davis Pier, partner firms, and client organizations and managing client relationships within project environments;
- Participate in business development in digital government and digital health activities such as researching, developing and pursuing new opportunities, proposal preparation, executive presentations, and relationship building with prospective buyers and influencers;
- Develop partner networks, strategic partnerships, and opportunities in existing and new markets; Participation in community involvement activities;
Adherence to administrative processes and firm policies such as timesheet reporting, expense tracking, workplace safety, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications Candidates should meet the following criteria : Experience and passion for solving complex problems in the public and social sectors, preferably from a consulting background Experience leading complex digital health projects and knowledge of digital health standards is considered an asset Interest in leading projects that include designing applications, products and services that balance user needs, business objectives and technological constraints Experience utilizing agile and iterative user-centred digital and design processes Experience creating awareness of modern technologies and approaches and guiding organizations to appropriate adoption Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and partnerships Experience being responsible for complex technology projects, including examining, architecting, and estimating through to a live environment Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Formal education in business, public administration, engineering, information technology, computer science or social sciences At Davis Pier we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
