Lead Engineer

Location : NLS Ontario, 3115 Harvester Rd, Burlington, ON L7N3N8, CAN

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for a Renewables Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position will play a key role in driving the growth and successful delivery of Ulteig’s electrical engineering offerings within the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will have prior experience in renewables, especially within one or more of the following : underground collection, system studies, and substation design. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of our renewable energy solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct high-level system studies to support renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret results and recommend solutions.
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as technical lead on projects, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
• Conduct technical reviews and enforce quality control standards.
• Research new technologies and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in client meetings, present technical information, and support proposal development.

Additional Opportunity Details

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is : $111,800- $151,300 CAD.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
