Position Overview : We are seeking a creative and driven Human Resources Professional to join our team as a People & Talent Coordinator! Our goal is to create legendary and memorable experiences for our team and members! The People & Talent Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing our recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies that foster a fun, positive, and inclusive community environment for our team and members.

The People & Talent Coordinator will own the full cycle recruitment of a broad portfolio of in club and office positions.

This position will also support other areas of Human Resources, including in club training and development, payroll, employee investigations, benefits, performance reviews, onboarding and offboarding, rewards and recognition, and health & safety.

This position offers a hybrid work model. We have an anchor day in our office in Cambridge one day per week. You will also spend 2-3 days per week in club visits.

The remaining 1-2 days can be spent working remotely in a home office. Our clubs are primarily located in the GTA (Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville) and Southwestern Ontario (London, Windsor, Sarnia).

Regular travel to all clubs is required and reliable transportation is essential for success in this position. Some overnight travel will also be required.

Talent Acquisition : Execute on our pillars of talent acquisition (beyond just posting jobs); this position will champion full cycle recruitment.

HR Functions : You have the mindset of an HR Generalist and wear many different hats to support our team members.

Collaboration : Partner with other committees, departments, and teams to align with organizational goals and initiatives.

Position Overview :

  • Drive full-cycle talent acquisition for all office and club positions; we are growing across Canada!
  • Conduct new team member orientations and facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Coordinate and assist with training programs and employee development initiatives.
  • Help organize company events and activities to promote employee engagement.
  • Leverage organization and project management tools to complete tasks and projects.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends.
  • Regular admin support to our Payroll Manager is required on a bi-weekly basis.

Who You Are :

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources
  • You are a Human Resources Professional and a CHRP designation is required
  • Access to a large network of fitness professional or related industries
  • You can work without a roadmap, and you are a goal oriented, problem solver with a strong drive for results
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative support is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
