About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and curious Software Development Intern to join our technology team. This internship is designed for students, or recent graduates, who are passionate about software development and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced developers, contribute to real projects, and grow your technical and professional skills.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code under guidance
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Collaborate with team members to solve technical problems
- Learn and apply best practices in software development and version control
- Support ongoing projects and contribute ideas for improvements
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related programBasic knowledge of programming concepts (e.g., variables, loops, functions, data structures)Experience with PythonCoursework or practical experience in Optics or Applied PhysicsFamiliarity with concepts such as light propagation, lenses, sensors, imaging systems, or optical measurementsExperience working with data, simulations, or software related to physics or optical systemsStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learnGood written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of basic software development life cycle (SDLC) conceptsNice to Have (But Not Required)
