Border Paving Ltd. is currently seeking a Shop / Maintenance Person to support our shop and yard operations. This is a full‑time, entry‑level opportunity ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, self‑motivated and detail orientated. The successful candidate must be capable of performing labour related tasks for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance around the shop, supporting both administrative and technical tasksCritic? Actually 'supporting' is fine.
• Clean and maintain equipment as directed.
• Support the maintenance and repair of shop tools and equipment.
• Comply with safe working procedures and practices.
• Pick up, transport and deliver parts and equipment as needed.
• Maintain wash bays and associated equipment.
• Perform general yard maintenance including grass and weed control.
• Complete custodial and housekeeping tasks within shop and work area.
• Occasional operation of some heavy equipment (forklifts, rollers, skid steers, etc.)
• Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required duringöss the construction season (May - November).
• Other duties as required.
