Job Description

The Senior Manager, Analytics & Business Insights is responsible for using data to drive business insights to support strategic and tactic business decisions across Ensemble.

Responsibilities encompass performing quantitative / qualitative analysis, establishing and refining KPIs for key initiatives and projects, prepare management presentations, and work closely with the business to influence the strategic direction and financial performance of the Company.

The ideal candidate combines outstanding business acumen, deep understanding of user behaviors, and communication skills, and uses internal and external data as well as business tools (excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.

to enable critical, data-driven decision-making at Ensemble. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Finance, the Senior Manager will have significant exposure to senior management with the opportunity to work closely with the various business unit leaders across the organization.

The Senior Manager will play a critical role in the success of Ensemble and in being an industry-leading consortia serving our members.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to understand business needs and tailor analysis to drive insights to meet organizational goals.
  • Perform research and analysis, validate assumptions and drivers, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support Ensemble's immediate growth strategy.
  • Assist in the preparation of management presentations, including but not limited to business cases, business reviews, and other executive updates.
  • Create visually appealing and easily digestible reports to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and own detailed KPI tracking for each identified streams and projects; work closely with stakeholders to highlight gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop a cohesive story of the opportunities and key drivers for each business unit and the organization as a whole.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree in Business / Economics or a related field.
  • 5+ years of internal strategy and / or analytics experience in a fast-growing and multi-disciplinary industry; or 3-5 years of advisory / consulting experience as an analyst or associate in professional services.
  • Proven experience developing strategy, commercial business cases, financial models, and reporting to a senior executive audience.
  • Ownership mentality and a self-starter / can-do attitude, with strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to form strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment with significant change, ambiguity and adapting to evolving organizational requirements.
  • Advanced Excel is essential with emphasis on the ability to manipulate complex financial and operational data.
  • Advanced PowerPoint is critical with emphasis on the ability to synthesize complex information to present in a concise and structured manner.
  • Experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Low ego and highly collaborative leadership style.
