ThePharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective useof medications by providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care topatients.

This role involves collaborating with healthcareprofessionals to optimize medication therapy and enhance patientoutcomes.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Dispenseprescription medications and provide accurate information topatients regarding their use potential side effects andinteractions.
  • Conductmedication reviews and patient essments to identify and resolvemedicationrelatedissues.
  • Provideguidance to healthcare providers on medication selection dosage andadministration.
  • Maintainaccurate patient records and doentation related to medicationtherapy.
  • Stayinformed about new medications treatment protocols and pharmacylaws andregulations.

Requirements

  • Doctorof Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accreditedinstitution.
  • Licenseas a pharmacist in the relevant province orstate.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal ss to effectively interact withpatients and healthcareteams.
  • Knowledgeof pharmacotherapy and clinicalguidelines
