Responsibilities
Project Management : Oversee all aspects of construction operations on-site, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors. Provide clear direction, training, and support to team members to foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Safety Compliance : Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Quality Control : Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
Address any deviations or defects and ensure corrective measures are taken.
Communication : Act as the primary point of contact between the construction site and project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise on-site, including logistical challenges, technical problems, and resource constraints.
Proactively seek solutions to keep the project on track.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Site Superintendent, specifically on ICI projects (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional).
Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and trade qualifications are a plus.
- Skills : Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
