The Parts and Service Support Representative - Refuse (“PSSR”) is responsible for driving parts and service sales growth for our refuse product lines within the territory. This role will act as a champion and subject expert for our refuse products, and their activities will provide support to a diverse portfolio of existing and new refuse customers. Typical activities will include calling on / visiting customers, prospecting new customers, developing relationships, preparing estimates, providing product demonstrations and acting as a solutions-provider to customers.

Education / Certification :
Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or a related program OR equivalent professional experienceValid driver’s license with a clean driver’s recordMust be able to pass a pre-employment background checkExperience :
3+ years’ experience in a Customer Service Representative / Outside Sales role or a related positionExperience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) softwareExperience developing and implementing successful sales strategiesPrevious exposure to a heavy equipment / refuse industryPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Service existing accounts and ensure effective and continuous customer communication / interactionProspect and assess territory for potential new customersPromote and sell represented product lines throughout the territoryPrepare quotations for customers, follow up on sales and process ordersOrganize parts deliveriesAcquire and update customer information to ensure up to date customer databaseEstablish a visit plan and schedule weeklyConduct regular visits to customers’ job site / fleets and leverage parts sales opportunities by offering reliable solutions to customers’ requirementsPromote promotional products and campaignsDetermine customer needs through communicating available service or products, listen to customer concerns, and develop a service solution to best serve the customerRemain knowledgeable of company’s products, market and industry trends, and leading customer strategiesAnalyze current sales, determine additional areas for potential sales, develop strategies to acquire those salesProduce territory analysis reports on applicable marketsConduct daily / weekly prospecting callsLog all calls and communications with customers to allow for seamless customer supportDevelop and present parts packages to customersIncrease year over year part sales growth, parts gross margin and diversification in product and customer baseCollaborate with Sales and Service departments to ensure effective and seamless customer support within the territoryRepresent the company at industry events as requiredComplete product training as required to stay on top of product knowledgeOther assignments as requiredIf you are looking for a new opportunity, then we at Joe Johnson Equipment welcome your application.
