We are looking for a Senior Dispatcher to become the Team Lead with high hopes of transition to the Manager with progress.

Responsibilities
The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods ensuring smooth flow of operations :
- Brokerage : Finding the best carrier to move freight, negotiate rates with carriers to find the best rate, optimize routes to minimize costs
- Asset Based : dispatcher and route planning internal company drivers
- Monitor the shipment status, track and trace, update customers, provide exceptional customer service to all clients, resolve any issues or delays
- Coordinate the freight movement with the operations and sales team
- Utilize TMS software for data entry and tracking
Qualifications
- You must have at least 5 years' experience in dispatching, preferably in assets or brokerage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- You are able to solve problems and provide solutions quickly.
- Be able to overcome difficulties and solve problems
- Be comfortable on the telephone and possess excellent communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop relationships with carriers are essential.
- English and French preferred.
