Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
- Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on the forklift
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
- Assist with order picking using a variety of equipment such as clamp trucks and order pickers
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
