Description of the position

We are looking for two mechanics to join our team in the Estrie region, located in Granby.

Do you have the expertise to keep heavy vehicles in top condition?

Join our team and choose the work mode that suits you best : part-time, full-time, or simply lend a helping hand as backup.

Your Role

Perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy vehicles

Contribute your expertise to ensure safe and efficient transportation

Be a key support in our growing operations

Mechanics will be required to

Repair and maintain school buses

Carry out road tests

Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders

Handle paint and finish repairs

Monitor the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP)

Prepare parts lists needed for repairs and keep inventory updated

Track warranties

Issue parts release slips with work orders

Organize the shop (equipment, storage)

Search for technical documentation

Clean work and washing areas

Install radio, camera, and GPS equipment on new vehicles

Diagnose mechanical issues

Perform any other related tasks

Requirements

DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience;

Knowledge of diesel mechanics

Knowledge of Cummins, Allison, Wabco and Outlook software;

Knowledge of hydraulic brakes;

Knowledge of transmission and engine diagnostics (an asset);

Possession of PMP card;

Valid Canadian work permit;

Valid Class 5 license.

Qualifications :

Good attendance;

Good manual dexterity;

Good analytical skills;

Good spatial perception;

Initiative;

sense of responsibility and observation.
