Junior-Intermediate Civil Engineer

The Opportunity :

MeshGrid HR client is an innovative industry leading company that provides engineering services to the electric utility industry. They are growing the civil engineering team and currently seeking an individual as a Civil Engineer-EIT to provide support to the company. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a great team environment at a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design team, associates e.g. geotechnical engineer and client reviewers as needed.
• Assure design conformance to Client and Company design standards.
• Prepare layouts, conceptual designs, calculations, illustrations for distribution and transmission civil / structural projects. Work would mainly include underground structure design, and structural / dimensional calculations, field work, drawings, material lists and work instructions.
• Willing to assist in a variety of project support activities including project coordination, strategic planning, client support, and business analysis supporting the business development and project management departments.
• Support documentation process for projects including technical specifications, tender documents, technical reports and project calculations.
• Interface with other design disciplines, coordinate with related stakeholders, and assist team leads and managers.
• Perform site visits to project locations.
