Project Manager II, Consulting
Responsibilities
and Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for supporting a major client portfolio - approximately $10M / year.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining positive and effective client relationships.
- To lead an integrated multi-disciplinary team of Worley personnel for the supply of Environmental services in accordance with agreed business requirements.
- Analysis of wildlife, fisheries, and water sampling data from engineering and field environmental teams.
- To provide strong HSE leadership.
- To ensure clear agreement of client objectives, and that these are met or exceeded.
- Establish consistent operations and work execution for the client.
- To achieve or better the budgeted gross margin using continuous improvement principles, as well as strive to grow the project portfolio on a long-term basis.
- To apply consistent operational metrics and management practices within the client team.
- Support the implementation and execution of all work according to the project / contract requirements
- Travel as required to Vancouver office for client / business meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
- Ten (10) years of project management experience in environmental consulting, including minimum of five (5) years working as a Project Manager
- Registered or eligible for registration as a professional in Canada or PMP designation
- Experience in mid to large scale projects
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated environmental project management experience in the province of British Columbia is preferred
For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $117,581 to $172,913. Application of the pay band : Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
