Seamlessly process outgoing shipments to meet deliverables and assist with day to day customer inquiries. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick up of goods;
Provide tracking and delivery information Ensure each shipment generates the maximum contribution to the company by keeping constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost.
Stay informed on market conditions, lead times, and shifts in pricing for servicesMaintain customer and contact database Prepare shipping documents including but not limited to, packing list, commercial invoices, installation instructions and shippingCommunicate with the shipping department to ensure for proper loading scheduling and requirements Communicate with internal and external customers on shipping schedule and product / shipping documentation.
Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages Initiate, answer and document tracer inquiries via email or phone, as needed Liaise with the Planning Department to review all orders and schedule shipping in the most efficient manner, as directed.
