Journeyperson Welder

• SMAW and FCAW welding on ship structures and components.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding specifications.
• Oxy/fuel cutting, plasma cutting, and air-arc gouging.
• Working safely at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
• Meeting shipbuilding quality standards and site safety procedures.

• Journeyperson/Red Seal Welder.
• Valid CWB SMAW All Positions (X-ray quality, minimum 6 months remaining).
• Valid CWB FCAW All Positions.
• Ability to pass a plate test.
• Minimum 2.5 years of welding experience.
• Proof of SMAW/FCAW use within the last 3 months.
• Eligible to work in Canada and able to pass background/security checks.
