Job Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move and retrieve products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking, checking materials, and assisting in taking inventory
- Receive materials / finished goods on a timely and accurate basis
- Examine, store and deliver materials according to established procedures and customer requirements
- Communicate and work closely with machine operators, team members, customer service representatives and other departments to ensure workflow continuity
- Assist customers in meeting unique storage and delivery requirements
- Prepare and ship materials / finished goods in a timely manner according to customer requirements
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferredForklift certifiedAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including operating a forklift, standing, walking, and sittingBasic math and reading skillsStrong attention to detail, organization, time management and communication skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team settingAbility to work the 12‑hour continental shift rotationKnowledge of 5S and Lean practicesBenefits
