Senior Associate, Engineering at ML6 Search + Talent Advisory

The Opportunity:

This role oversees the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality program as a whole. You’ll work alongside plant operations to enhance not only the quality of the product, but the overall health, safety and environment policies and procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as the main Point of Contact for Safety, Environment and Health within three plants
• Spend time daily on the production floor, communicating with various team members
• Continuously Implement and develop SOPs- including training current staff on new ones
• Manage all reporting- including training, incident and investigation reports
• Lead the internal audits for both quality and safety
• Oversee training while continuously improving the processes
• Lead safety and quality management meetings including month end reporting within operations and corporate staff
• Prepare root cause analysis and report on effectiveness
• Duties as otherwise assigned

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

• At least 5 years in a HSEQ managerial role OR Undergraduate degree in H&S or quality management
• Experience working in manufacturing industry is a must
• CRSP certification a major asset
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Strong leadership skills, work ethic and decision making skills
• Experience using MS office
• Ability to travel within the GTA and out of province once a month
